A Nyala breeding project was established in the late 90's on the Ndzalama Nature Reserve as a conservation project for the species. BJ Vorster is fortunate to have many 30+" Nyala bulls coming of the open farm. Some of these Nyala bulls have been sold and other selected bulls have been introduced into the breeding projects with selected females with the 30+" genes from the area.
